On Freedom And Philosophy

On Freedom And Philosophy” is the compilation of the three Addresses which Ricardo Badani presented at the VIII National Philosophy Congress held in Lima, at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (San Marcos Higher National University).

In the first Address, THE MEANING OF FREEDOM, the author analyses the eternal questions: What is (or what ought to be) “that which is permissible”…? Where are the “limits of Freedom” built…?

The second Address, THE MEANING OF PHILOSOPHY, seeks to transmit and reassess the real and pristine meaning of what Philosophy originally was, evoking the concepts of the Transcendence
and Perfection that led us to fight for a better world.

Finally, in the third Address, PATAÑJALI'S PHILOSOPHYCAL METHOD, the author explains and develops in detail the “Y'oga Suutramm” (“Aphorisms of (Trascendent) Union” [योगसू]) of Patanjali ([पत?जिल], Hindu author from the II century BC), showing they contain a clearly formulated and perfectly feasible method for anyone who wants to apply it.
